Samantha Treadway is a sophomore MIS major. She placed in the top 10 in the world 2 times out of 60,000+ competitors in the DECA business competition, she loves Disney, and this summer, she studied Behavioral Economics abroad at the London School of Economics and even got to go to Disneyland Paris!

Sienna Rossmiller is a freshman Undecided Business major who is looking into Finance/Accounting with a minor in Wealth Management! She has 2 Goldendoodles named Chewie + Tido, she has been playing Volleyball for over 8 years, and she loves Johnny Cash + Benson Boone!

Aashi Kasotia is a freshman unspecified business major looking into finance and accounting. Last summer, she had the most fun at her job working at a franchise cookie shop with her best friend. She also loves coffee!

Juliana Creel is a freshman finance major with a marketing minor. She is a Canadian dual-citizen, her favorite drink is Dr Pepper, and she knows all the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s All Too Well 10-minute version!

Raya Bhattacharyya is a sophomore majoring in MIS. She has 2 German Shepherds, her favorite band of all time is Fleetwood Mac, and she just got her 4th piercing!

Hiba Ahmed is from Houston, Texas, and is majoring in Public Health with a minor is Business. A fun fact is that she has 10 piercings! 🤯

A fun fact about Hannah is she had a phase in middle school where her sock drawer was a realm of color chaos. It was Hannah’s small rebellion against conformity, and those mismatched socks became her signature style. 🤯

Nikhila Popuri is a Junior from Dallas, Texas but is originally from Hyderabad, India. She is currently majoring in MIS and is achieving an Elements of Computing Certificate. Fun fact about Nikhila is that she has lived in 3 countries and went to 9 different schools her entire life!

Akshara Viruthagiri is a sophomore from Houston, Texas! She is currently majoring in Finance with a BDP Certificate in Public Policy and a minor in BAX. Akshara loves drinking toffee nut lattes☕️, reading books that make her feel, and organizing all aspects of her life (through her gcal of course). 💫

Vedika Bakre is a junior double majoring in MIS and Psychology with a Hindi minor. Vedika loves reading thriller/murder mystery books & listening to true crime podcasts (she somehow had 5600+ minutes on her 2022 Spotify wrapped). Vedika probably has the worst Apple Watch tan anyone has ever seen, and she will be going to Barcelona this May for a Maymester!

Ankita Sumeet is a junior majoring in MIS with a CS Certificate. Ankita used to be left-handed, can read and write Korean, and traveled to 8 Europe countries as a part of the TX Ambassador Band Program in high school! Thank you Ankita for doing a great job as our external affairs officer and still taking some time out to help other officers as well!

Alice Shi is a junior majoring in the IMPA program with a certificate in Japanese. She is a huge Cinnamoroll lover and collected 20+ Cinnamoroll-related items! She is also a huge boba lover and has been to most of the boba shops in Austin! Alice recently started exploring coffee shops around Austin and her favorite at the moment is the spiced chai latte at Summer Moon!

Akshara Viruthagiri is a freshman intending to major in Finance on the pre-law track. She loves reading fantasy novels that transport her into fictional worlds, listening to eclectic music that is rejuvenating to the soul, and trying every type of chaat that is out there. Sabrina Tam is a freshman thinking of majoring in MIS or Marketing. She loves plushies and has a growing Squishmallows collection. Sabrina also enjoys traveling and has dozens of places she'd like to go visit, such as Bora Bora! She's a huge bubble tea lover and her go-to drink is typically a passionfruit green tea with boba, but she is open to trying different drinks! Sabrina Tam quite literally killed it for Assassins and she is one of the first active members of this semester. Way to go Sabrina!

Ria Mittal is a freshman who wants to major in Business Analytics. She was born on Chinese New Year so sometimes people say she's half sheep half monkey. Ria has around 400 goldfish, and about 35 dolls from every country she's visited. Thanks Ria for reaching out and giving WBA a great idea of what we can do more in the future!

Ankitha Gantasala is a freshman majoring in unspecified business. Ankitha has gone skydiving and definitely plan to go again. Her favorite movie will forever be Tangled and she loves to paint and have painted over 50 paintings. Thank you Ankitha for being the first to respond to messages and take initiative in hosting events!

Ashritha Chandy is a Freshman majoring in Economics. She loves thrifting and thrift-flipping the stuff she gets. She has amassed an accidental coin collection in her wallet, complete with coins from countries that she has never been to and has no idea how they got there. She is always the first to volunteer to take on extra work & she was so great about moving around to talk to different people at Self Care Night. Naida Banh is a sophomore majoring in Accounting. Naida loves traveling and goes on at least one cruise every year. She loves iced matcha lattes (especially the one from Starbucks). She also has a food Instagram account (@naidaeats) so she is always down to try new places. Thank you so much Naida for helping out at our first general meeting!

Zara Inam is a sophomore majoring in Finance with a minor in Business Analytics. She has a black belt in Karate and would always choose chocolate over any other flavor. Zara's favorite music artist is Post Malone. She has been to his concert twice! Thank you so much Zara for all the hard work you do as our fundraising director!

Fatima Raja is a junior majoring in MIS and Sociology and minoring in Marketing. She has read more than 30 books this year. She will be in Washington DC next semester doing the Archer Fellowship. Fatima also interned at Dell last summer and plans to go back this upcoming summer! Thank you for bringing creative ideas to improve DEI efforts and for your active participation in events!

Megan Wolf is a sophomore majoring in Finance. She loves traveling and went on 7 trips this past summer. She played the French horn for 6 years (and still love seeing any kinds of live performances). Megan is also a big morning person and love to go on walks, especially since the weather is getting cooler. Thank you so much Megan for all of your hard work as Internal Affairs Director!

Evelyn Salbilla is a junior double majoring in BBA Finance and BA Sociology and she is doing a Business Spanish Certificate. She knows every song in the John Mayer's discography by heart and she speaks four different languages. Evelyn also loves Facebook Marketplace. Aarya Nair is a freshman majoring in corporate communications. She is double-jointed in all her fingers and has gone bungee jumping. Aarya's birthday is on Christmas Eve! Kayla Akly is a BHP sophomore interested in majoring in either Marketing or MIS. She is an international student from Bolivia and enjoys learning about anything related to typography or graphic design. She also loves to travel and had the chance to visit Spain over the summer! Gowri Vasista is a sophomore majoring in MIS. She has a small business! Check out @memujewelry on Instagram and Etsy to support Austin’s food insecurity programs! Sheila Pan is a sophomore majoring in Accounting. She played piano for 13 years and also loves playing pickle-ball! Sheila wins concert tickets each year by calling the Dallas radio station and being caller 20. Thank you for bringing your creativity at our Halloween night and for being active at all our events!

Ali Armstrong is an undeclared sophomore planning to major in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Accounting. She has been on ten cruises and took dance lessons for 7 years since her parents owned a dance studio. Ali is also involved in the Junior Rodeo Committee at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Thank you so much Ali for being our first active member for this semester and for being present at our events.

Katelyn Ware is a junior majoring in IMPA. She was born with straight hair and has a golden retriever puppy named Millie. Her all time favorite Starbucks drink is an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. Thank you so much Katelyn for reaching out and helping other officers!

Emma Buczek is a freshman currently majoring in Unspecified Business with plans to major in Finance and minor in Wealth Management. This semester, she is an IM official at UT for dodgeball, basketball, and softball. Emma has dyed her hair purple, magenta, and now red, and she can’t live without Asian food. Thank you Emma for being such an involved member of WBA and for always coming to events eager to learn! We are so appreciative of your awesome attitude.

Sumaiya Hassan is a sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems. She has lived in Connecticut, Dubai, India, Bahrain, and Minnesota and has attended 14 different schools. Sumaiya loves to go hiking and be in nature. She also enjoys reading philosophy and visiting local bookstores. Thank you, Sumaiya, for being so involved in WBA. Kathryn Odama is a freshman majoring in psychology and planning to add economics as her second major at the end of this semester. Kathryn has danced since she was 8.5 years old and is an ENFP. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career that incorporates both policy and business disciplines. Vedika Bakre is a sophomore majoring in psychology and minoring in business. She has fostered approximately 15 dogs in the past 6 years. She read 54 books in 2021 and wants to beat that number this year! She love working out especially lifting and Peloton classes! Thank you so much for delivering on all your responsibilities and for creating such fun bracket icebreakers! Alice Shi is a sophomore accounting major who is also trying to pursue a Japanese certificate. She has a sister who is 11.5 years younger than her and has lived in four cities in two countries. She is also a HUGE boba lover! Thank you for always being proactive with your work and for going out of your way to help with WBA!

Sejal Jain (Women's Case Competition Co-Director) is a sophomore double majoring in MIS and Spanish and minoring in Accounting. Sejal has composed a theme song for a TV show and makes a mean cheesecake. Samritha Palakollu is a junior majoring in Finance with a minor in MIS. Samritha discovered a new hobby of baking cakes and has even made a Shrek and Grinch cake so far. One of her goals in life is to have a unique mug collection and she has been cliff-diving before right here in Austin! Thank you for creating so many fun and engaging events this year. Sydney Key is a freshman who is interested in majoring in MIS or Marketing She has been skydiving before and in her free time she likes to take yoga and spin classes Queso and chips are her favorite food! Uma Srinivasan is a junior Finance and Health & Society Double Major. She learned to understand Turkish by watching lots of Turkish shows, loves to dance, and really likes to try new food places around Austin. Audrey Granmayeh is a freshman Unspecified Business major interested in majoring in Finance. This summer, she'll be studying abroad in Prague where she'll add a Global Management certificate. Prague isn't the only spot on her travel list though- she's been to over 25 countries! Audrey has played basketball since the age of seven, and in her free time she enjoys reading and exercising. Hafsah Siddiqui is a sophomore who is majoring in MIS and planning to minor in marketing. She played cello for 6 years and wanted to be an architect when she was younger. Lauren Britt is a senior majoring in Finance, specifically interested in Investment Management. She grew up in an Aggie family of all boys and has a twin brother. Fall is her favorite season, and every year she looks forward to the candles, sweaters, and weather. Until college she played volleyball and loves watching UT play! Shriya Govindji is a junior who is majoring in marketing and minoring in entrepreneurship. She also has a certificate in wealth management. She met Tyga at the Chicago O Hare airport and eats Madam Mams at least 2 times a week just for the pad kee mao. When she was younger every other shirt/item she owned had her name on it including her shower curtain! Lauren Logan is a Freshman Unspecified Business major leaning towards either Marketing or Finance. Lauren loves anything that has to do with fashion and wants to live in NYC after college. Gabrielle Jabour is a sophomore majoring in Marketing and Plan II Honors. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas and has a twin brother (like several other members of the WBA board)! She loves spending time outdoors and attending concerts and music festivals, and her secret talent is being able to recognize nearly any Taylor Swift song within the first few seconds. Anjali is an international student from Tamil Nadu, India. She loves listening to Taylor Swift and 5SOS, and she's also an avid cricket watcher (huge CSK and Team India fan!!). Amelia Nickerson is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Business Honors (CSB). Amelia loves to travel, and her next destination is Copenhagen, Denmark! One time she almost got attacked by an emu while visiting her family in Australia. Amelia is also on the equestrian team at UT. Afiya Maknojia is a senior majoring in Finance and minoring in MIS. She is a big traveler and has visited over 14 countries and counting! Her favorites so far have been Iceland and Croatia. Karlina Franco is an Unspecified Business Major that is interested in International Business. She was a student athletic trainer in high school and had a knack for stopping nosebleeds. In her free time, she loves watching movies/shows with other people. She also used to paint all the time in elementary and middle school and loved doing abstract art.
